As the 7th February began, so did the Battalion Indoor Games. Few people turned up due to illness, or the bitter cold that awaited them as they left their houses. The venue for this event was Elworth Methodist Church.
Although not many people attended, the event carried on. Dominic Mellor experienced an extremely tense game of Jenga that lasted for the best part of 10 minutes, finally losing as the very venerable tower toppled over the table.
Other progress continued after a lunch of burgers and chips. Chris Burrows winning the Over 14 category in Carpet Bowls, Darts and Table Tennis. Robert Dixon won the Under 14 table football in an all Haslington final against Matthew Welch. Over all Haslington came 3rd in the event.
